QC Lead / QC Manager

Taguchi Inspection Services Inc. is hiring experienced QC Leads and QC Managers for major industrial construction, shutdown and turnaround projects across Alberta and British Columbia.

Required Qualifications
  • CWB Level 2 certification (required)
  • Minimum 8 years QA/QC experience on industrial construction projects
  • Must be based in Canada - Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid open work permit
  • Working knowledge of ASME, CSA, ABSA and AB-83 requirements
Additional Assets
  • NACE / AMPP coating inspection certification
  • API 510, 570 or 653 certification
  • CSA W178.2 Level 2 or AWS CWI
  • Shutdown and turnaround experience in oil, gas and petrochemical
Scope of Work
  • Prepare and manage ITPs for structural, civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, insulation and coating
  • Develop QA/QC plans and procedures including bolt-up, hydrotest, visual inspection, weld repair and chemical cleaning
  • Compile test packages and turnover documentation
  • Interface with client, ABSA and third-party inspection

API Inspector (510/570/653)
Full-Time / Contract📍 Delta BC / Edmonton AB / Field

Taguchi Inspection Services Inc. is hiring certified API inspectors for refinery, petrochemical and tank farm work across Alberta and British Columbia.

Required Qualifications
  • Active API 510, 570 or 653 certification (required)
  • Minimum 5 years refinery or petrochemical inspection experience
  • Must be based in Canada - Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid open work permit
  • Working knowledge of ASME Section VIII, B31.3 and ABSA requirements
Additional Assets
  • CWB Level 2 or AWS CWI certification
  • NACE / AMPP coating inspection certification
  • ASNT NDT Level II (UT, MT, PT, RT)
  • Shutdown and turnaround experience
Scope of Work
  • In-service and out-of-service inspection of pressure vessels, piping and storage tanks
  • Review thickness monitoring data and corrosion rate calculations
  • Witness and verify NDE, hydrotest and repair activities
  • Prepare inspection reports and fitness-for-service recommendations

CWB / Welding Inspector
Contract📍 BC / Alberta / National Field

Taguchi Inspection Services Inc. supplies certified welding inspectors to fabrication shops and field construction projects across Canada.

Required Qualifications
  • CWB Level 2 (CSA W178.2) or AWS CWI certification (required)
  • Minimum 5 years welding inspection experience on industrial projects
  • Must be based in Canada - Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid open work permit
  • Working knowledge of CSA W59, AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX
Additional Assets
  • API 510, 570 or 653 certification
  • NACE / AMPP coating inspection certification
  • ASNT NDT Level II (VT, MT, PT, UT)
  • Structural steel and pressure piping fabrication experience
Scope of Work
  • Visual inspection of welds to CSA W59, AWS D1.1 and ASME codes
  • Review WPS, PQR and welder qualification records
  • Witness NDE and manage weld repair and rework
  • Maintain weld maps, NCRs and inspection records

QA/QC Coordinator
Full-Time📍 Delta, BC (Hybrid)

Taguchi Inspection Services Inc. is hiring a QA/QC Coordinator to support inspection documentation and quality control across our Alberta and British Columbia projects.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years QA/QC coordination on industrial construction projects (required)
  • Hands-on experience with ITPs, NCR management and turnover documentation
  • Must be based in Canada - Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or valid open work permit
  • Strong document control, reporting and communication skills
Additional Assets
  • CWB Level 2 or AWS CWI certification
  • API 510, 570 or 653 certification
  • NACE / AMPP coating inspection certification
  • Familiarity with ABSA and AB-83 quality management requirements
Scope of Work
  • Maintain ITPs, checklists and inspection records across all disciplines
  • Track and close NCRs, punch lists and deficiency logs
  • Compile test packages and turnover documentation
  • Coordinate third-party inspection and client witness points
